This is a post well past due. Our little Jocie turned 3 in NOVEMBER. She is such a joy in our life. She loves ALL things girl: Princesses, dollies, Dora, coloring, stickers, puzzles, getting her hair done, stick-on earrings, playing house, make believe, and dress-up. She has funny little quirks about her too. She won't do anything unless she gets the okay first. For example, she will stay in her bed until someone tells her she can get out. Even though I've told her numerous times that when she wakes up then she can get out of bed. But she won't it's the same thing every morning. There's been times she's been there for over an hour, because I wanted to see if she'd ever come out on her own, she doesn't. She also does this with going to the bathroom. She has to tell us she has to go and get our okay before she goes. Even if she is jumping up and down crying because she has to go so bad. Again I've told her over and over that she can just go, but...she won't. She takes for-ev-er eating her food, and it is not uncommon to have her at the table for hours at a time, but she won't leave until her food is done or her "tummy has had enough."
That is why this happens SO often because she is at the table all day long.
She is so funny, and I hope this trait of needing our okay carries on through her teenage years, that would be AWESOME. :) She is amazing at playing Make Believe games and her favorite is playing "Mommy, and Sweetheart." Sweetheart=a little girl, because that's what we call her. Because she absolutely is OUR little sweetheart.
Jocie LOVES helping me in the kitchen. She'll drop pretty much anything to come and help. She is my little shadow and I LOVE it!
I took Jocie to "Tangled" on her birthday it was a fun outing with just us girls.
Here she is posing for a picture on her birthday. She's "trying" to hold up 3 fingers but we got 4 instead.
About 3 days before her birthday she told us she wanted a stage to dance and sing on. Jocelyn's a very laid back little girl and does not give us input on what she wants very often so we knew if she was asking for this then she really wanted it. So because she has such an AWESOME, AMAZING, and LOVING, Dad, he built her one, complete with storage underneath for all her dress-up stuff. She loved it and wouldn't hold still for a second for me to get a good picture.
We Love our little Jocelyn and even though she hates it when we say this ("I'm NOT a Baby!") it's the truth. You'll ALWAYS be OUR BABY GIRL!
We LOVE YOU JOCIE! -Daddy, Mommy, Christian, and Emmitt
- I asked Christian what the best thing about Jocelyn is, he said. "She always helps me clean things up and do my chores even though she doesn't have to."
